| Viagra scam crook is spared prison |

A SLEAZY crook tried to cash in on men's impotence problems by selling them an illegal version of Viagra - which could have put their health at risk. When police raided Brian Wilsher's home in Erin Road, Duckmanton, Chesterfield, they found 50,000 of the tablets - brand named 'Kamarga' - plus 4,000 boxes of unlicensed Kamagra condoms and Kamagra oral jelly. A haul of 20,000 Diazepam tablets - a controlled class C drug - was also uncovered. Wilsher, 57, pleaded guilty to the offences at Derby Crown Court following a joint investigation by Derbyshire Police and the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency.He walked free from court after being given a 34 week jail term suspended for 18 months. He was also ordered to carry out 200 hours of community service. |
