Louisville drivers rate poorly in new Men's Health study Print E-mail
 Louisville drivers earned a D-plus in the July/August issue of Men's Health magazine, which ranked the top 100 United States cities in terms of the most environmentally friendly drivers.

The city ranked No. 85 on the list, way behind Lexington, which ranked No. 20. Seattle drivers were the most emissions-friendly, followed by drivers in Burlington, Vt.; Portland, Ore.; Madison, Wis.; and Fargo, N.D.

This exciting technology is performed with the Dilon 6800, a high-resolution, small field-of-view gamma camera, optimized to perform Breast-Specific Gamma Imaging (BSGI). It is initially being implemented at Solis' Central Plano location, with further implementations planned at Solis locations throughout the Metroplex.

Kmart Pharmacy expands generic prescription drug savings program Print E-mail
Kmart Pharmacy has lowered prices and expanded its generic prescription drug program to include more than 500 commonly prescribed generic medications.

In addition to offering more than 100 generic antibiotic, pain and cold/cough treatments for only $5 per prescription, the Kmart Pharmacy has lowered the cost of a three-month supply of many common maintenance medications to just $10, according to Kmart.

Britain supports plan on reproductive health for rural youths Print E-mail
The British government`s Department for International Development (DFID) is supporting a major programme intended to help youths to fight for their right to education and services on sexual reproductive health in rural areas on mainland Tanzania.

Programme manager Dr Dustan Bishanga said in an interview recently that the initiative was being implemented in four districts of Arumeru in Arusha Region, Simanjiro in Manyara Region, and Bagamoyo and Kibaha in Coast Region with the technical facilitation of a local institution - Marie Stopes Tanzania (MST).

Men's health program launched Print E-mail
THE Federal Government will today announce the first national Men's Health Policy to tackle the large gap between the health of men and women.

Health Minister Nicola Roxon said the scheme would kick off with a $460,000 grant to the National Suicide Prevention Strategy and $95,000 to encourage men to see their GP for preventative health checks.
